Yes. I recall Lawrence in his ironic poem “The Triumph of the Machine” spoke of mechanical man driven mad and sightless.

A wonderful reflection on sheer wonder and joy. I’ve often reflected on how children can (and do) teach us this lesson - how to play. All kids want to do is play, just for the joy of it. As adults, we often forget that this is a necessary part of life!

My kids are still teaching me. Watching animals can help too! So many creatures play, if we really pay attention.
